5 volts 3A Dc DC converter using LTC3113 IC

Using the LTC3113 fixed frequency, buck-boost DC DC converter can be designed various power supplies circuits that operates from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides low noise operation, making it well suited for RF and precision measurement applications.
The LTC3113 can deliver up to 3A of continuous output current to satisfy the most demanding applications.
Higher output current is possible in step down (buck) mode. Integrated low RDS(ON) power MOSFETs and a programmable switching frequency up to 2MHz result in a compact solution footprint.
This DC DC converter electronic project will provide a fixed 5 volts output from a 3.3 volts input at a maximum output current of 3 Amperes .

Some features of the LTC3113 IC include The error amplifier output (VC) determines the output duty cycle of each switch. The low RDS(ON), low gate charge, synchronous power switches provide high frequency pulse width modulation control.
As you can see in the circuit diagram this project require few external electronic parts and has a very high efficiency , more that 90% .
